Spoonflower Steampunk Design Contest for Valentine’s Day

I’ve entered my second Spoonflower fabric design contest “Steampunk Valentine” with this print that is part of my “Time Machine Collection”.

Spoonflower has teamed up with Urban Threads and the challenge is to create a fabric design from which a Steampunk Valentine-themed embroidery pattern can be adapted by Urban Threads.

If you would like to vote for me you can go here.  I wish I could tell you how to do a search and find my entry, but they make it so you have to scroll through every entry and this time there are quite of few of them.  This particular design is called Eternal Love.  May the best design win!!!!

Oh Happy Spring!

To all of you winter weary souls here are some photos I’ve taken at Descanso Gardens

in sunny Greater Los Angeles where spring has already sprung!

My hope is that soon you will be able to look up and feel the warmth

of the sun on your skin (with sun screen applied, of course)

Your gardens will blossom with pinks, yellows, vermillions, greens, oranges, purples and blues!

My designs for electronic tech cases are now live and available for sale at Keka!  Keka Case Company of San Francisco/London features artwork from some of the top surface designers and Illustrators from around the world and I’m thrilled to join this talented group.  The company has a product development set up that lets the artists control how their designs are applied to their signature iPad, iPad Mini, Smartphone and Kindle Keka Cases and Snap On Cases.  Though it was a lot of work (190 sku’s), I’m very satisfied with the outcome.  This design (above) is called Bloom Pa Pa and can be seen here along with the other 9 designs.  Here are a few more of the designs below.

Ahh! LOVE

Yes! I am in love with these digital embroidery samples of my Cupid Hearts and Floral Collection by Oklahoma Embroidery Supply and Design or OESD.  They are not available quite yet, but I will post again when they go public. I love how the digitizer created all of the different textures into my icons.  Check out the cupid’s hair!
