Happy New Year 2015!

Thank you for reading my blog, a bit of a clumsy stumbling effort through the last year as I was trying to get the hang of using the software.  I’m still figuring it out, so I’m going to be patient with myself and keep moving forward.  I wish all of you joy, peace, health and prosperity in 2015, in your families, in your work and in your personal endeavors.  I did not mention yet that during the year I reconnected with a licensee that I lost contact with from a few years ago and I also  signed several new contracts with new companies.  I look forward to working with them to get them new art.  But mostly I want to continue to make more art that conveys the feeling of  innocence, wonder and joy of life that come out in my characters and designs. Art that people have said makes them feel happy.  To do that I must stay connected to the most important things that matter and have gratitude for those blessings.  Happy New Year!

Year In Review Part One

Some one needs to scold this negligent artist for not keeping up with her blog!  Not only that, but this artist also does not keep up with her press and online presence very well.  Bad artist!  Does this mean I will get a lump of coal for Christmas?

So to make up for it, this artist, ahem, ME, will post several bits of news from the year in review.  To begin with, I JUST today discovered that Oklahoma Embroidery Supply and Design, aka OESD featured me on their blog way back in JANUARY!  This was my very first collection, Cupid and Hearts Floral embroidery collection.  I will continue to post more news every few days until the end of the year.  Then I vow to be much better at this in 2015!

Oh Happy Spring!

To all of you winter weary souls here are some photos I’ve taken at Descanso Gardens

in sunny Greater Los Angeles where spring has already sprung!

My hope is that soon you will be able to look up and feel the warmth

of the sun on your skin (with sun screen applied, of course)

Your gardens will blossom with pinks, yellows, vermillions, greens, oranges, purples and blues!
